The Sun Valley airport is 20 minutes from town. Most hotels have pickup/drop-off options for the airport, but it isn't guaranteed. There are very few Ubers and taxis.

If you are not staying at a hotel, you should familiarize yourself with the local FREE bus service, Mountain Rides, which runs every 15-30 minutes and drops passengers both at the base lodges and in downtown Ketchum. This is also a great option for anyone interested in skiing.
